First Semester

The Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM) First Semester offers a strong foundation in the field, with courses such as English, Hospitality Operations and Management, Fundamentals of Travel and Tourism, Principles of Management, Computer and Information Technology, and Values and Spirituality in Tourism. These subjects introduce students to the basics of the tourism industry and management principles, while also focusing on ethical and technological perspectives.

Fourth Semester

In the Fourth Semester, students study the social and political environment of Nepal and its impact on tourism. The courses include Nepalese Society and Politics, Financial Management, Language II (French/Chinese), Tour Guiding and Interpretation, Tourism Destination Development and Management, and Electronic Tourism. These subjects emphasize guiding techniques, financial management, and the influence of technology on modern tourism.

Second Semester

The Second Semester delves deeper into the operational aspects of the tourism industry. Courses include Airlines Ticketing and Fare Construction, Travel Service Operations Management I, Tourism in Nepal, Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, English II, and Financial Accounting. This semester equips students with knowledge about Nepal’s tourism sector, ticketing processes, and the financial and organizational skills needed in the industry.

Third Semester

The Third Semester expands on financial management and marketing strategies with courses like Cost and Management Accountancy, Tourism Marketing, Global Distribution System and E-ticketing, Travel Service Operations and Management II, Language I (French/Chinese), and Adventure Tourism. This semester enhances practical skills in travel operations, marketing, and foreign languages, preparing students for international tourism roles.

Fifth Semester

The Fifth Semester focuses on entrepreneurial skills, statistical analysis, and specialized areas of tourism. Students take courses such as Statistics, Entrepreneurship, Air Cargo Management, Tourism Economics, and Tourism Geography. This semester is designed to provide a broader understanding of global tourism and the economic principles that drive the industry.

Sixth Semester

The Sixth Semester is centered on strategic and sustainable tourism practices. Courses include Strategic Management, Research Methodology and Research Project, Eco-Tourism, Tourism Planning and Policies, and MICE Tourism. This semester enhances students’ strategic planning abilities while exploring sustainable tourism and large-scale event management.

Seventh Semester

The Seventh Semester offers a deeper focus on sustainable tourism and cultural tourism, with courses such as Sustainable Tourism Development, Cultural Tourism, Tourism Legislation, and Elective I. Eighth Semester

The eighth semester provides an advanced understanding of tourism legislation, management, and cultural heritage.
