Course Description : In class 10 social book, we learn about various topics related to our society. We learn about the history of our country and its culture. We also learn about current social issues and how to deal with them. Curriculum Development Centre (CDC) makes this beautiful social studies book for class 10 students. Unit 1. We, Our Community and Nation Null Hrs.

Total Area of Nepal is 1, 47,181 sq.km. it’s 0.33% of total land of the world. A development region is a political division of the country set apart for developmental and administrative purposes. It consists of a few zones. The regions divided on the basis of mountain, climate, temperature, soil, vegetation is called natural or geographical regions. Nepal is divided into 3 regions respectively Himalayan Region, Hilly Region, Terai Region.
Unit 2. Our Infrastructure of Development Null Hrs.

Infrastructures are the basic physical and organizational structures and facilities (e.g. buildings, roads, power supplies) needed for the operation of a society or enterprise. Resources are the main requisite for the development of the nation. There is enough natural resources available for the smooth development and the progress of the country. But the problem lies with the human resources.
